The College of Nursing is committed to meeting the challenges and addressing the critical health needs of our population by preparing nurses who have a broad understanding of the profession, public policy, leadership, and health care systems. Our profession carries the enormous responsibility of leading reform in health and health care systems, improving health outcomes of patients and their families, and generating and translating knowledge that improves nursing education, nursing leadership, and nursing practice. As nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse leaders, and nurse researchers, we are constantly challenged to find innovative and effective ways to provide seamless, affordable, and safe quality care that will produce improved health outcomes. . The overriding strength of our educational programs, research opportunities, and clinical services lies in the talented and dedicated faculty members and researchers at the College of Nursing.


Academic Profile:  
Prof.C.Zealous Mary RN RM, M,ScN. MPhil,PhD.  She obtained the Bachelors of Science from SRM College of Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Omaiyal Achi College of Nursing under the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University, Chennai in 1999 and 2006 respectively. She obtained MPhil from The Global Open University Health Care and hospital Administration in 2008. She Completed her PHD from CMJ University in 2013. She started her career as Lecturer and rose to the position of Dean. She has more than 21 years of teaching experience on Nursing Service, Nursing Education and Nursing Research in different positions at various Universities. She is a member of Trained Nurses Association of India and National Neonatal Forum of India. She has published numerous articles in various National and International journals. Currently she is a fully fledged administrator.
