Indira College of Nursing   has established Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as per the NAAC guidelines to facilitate the integration of various activities of the institution for quality accreditation and adhere to the strategic plan for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will becomes a vital part of the institution’s quality assurance system and work towards ensuring quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of its institution. During, the post-accreditation period, institution need to channelize their efforts towards promoting holistic academic excellence including the implementation of peer team’s recommendation.

OBJECTIVES
 Ensure Effective, progressive, time bound performance of academic, administrative,
clinical and research activities
 Practice of precise evaluation process pertaining to academic, clinical, research and
administrative activities
 Strengthening of Clinical research and optimization of required facilities
 Devise innovative, learner centered teaching learning methods
 Ensuring adequacy of infrastructure / facilities/ service.

GOAL
 To develop a quality system to improve the academic and administrative performance of
the institution.
 To promote institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through the
internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of the best practices.

FUNCTIONS
 Development of uniform feedback mechanism and collection of feedback regularly from
stake holders like students, alumni, parents, professionals, employers and faculties and to
take appropriate decision for necessary modifications.
 To set quality benchmark in academic, clinical, research and administrative levels
 Promotion and Organization of various quality programs at regular intervals to achieve
the objectives
 To develop as nodal center that promotes, supports quality related events/ research
activities
 To nurture positive culture in the Institute with keeping quality as top priority
 Preparation of data, documentation during varied accreditation process.
